Daniel Goleman, a psychologist and author, introduced six leadership styles in his 2000 Harvard Business Review article "Leadership That Gets Results. “Later in the book "Primal Leadership.” These styles are based on the concept of emotional intelligence, and each has its strengths and weaknesses.
Reflecting on my experience spent in different law firms and comparing different lawyers (bosses and/or leaders) for whom I worked and my personal leaderships therein; I could not second every letter, even punctuation, of this piece more.
Using different leadership styles though…is difficult because of personal tendencies right? Is there a way to turn personal el tendencies into a leadership and have that become your style (since it’s easiest) then sprinkle others into it?
